Job summary

Flexjet LLC's IT Team seeks a DevOps Platform Engineering Manager to guide engineering solutions across private aviation infrastructure. You will lead platform engineering initiatives and collaborate with architects, IT security, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.

You will design infrastructure strategy, provisioning and migration across cloud and on-premise environments, establish best practices, mentor engineers, and drive cost optimization while ensuring disaster

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer networking or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• 5+ years managing virtual servers and SAN storage.
• Experience with Linux OS and Windows servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and develop DevOps Platform Engineering team personnel with priorities and workload in view.
• Design platform engineering strategy with architects, IT security, and business leaders.
• Develop platform engineering policies and procedures.
• Architect and support provisioning/migration of infrastructure across cloud and on-premise services while ensuring security, DR, and continuity.
• Collaborate with software architects to explore cloud tools and frameworks.
