Job summary

R1 RCM Holdco Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Platform Engineering to provide hands-on technical leadership across shared platforms enabling 250+ engineers and AI scientists to build, ship, and operate software at scale.

You will shape architecture across platform domains, solve systemic challenges, and implement capabilities that boost velocity, reliability, and long-term adaptability, with emphasis on cloud-native design and secure operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in large teams.
• Experience leading architecture, implementation, and production operations.
• Proven ability to translate cross-functional challenges into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term platform vision, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Build shared services and platform capabilities for 250+ engineers and AI practitioners.
• Lead cross-functional platform initiatives from strategy through adoption.
• Advance cloud-native and DevSecOps capabilities across Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Champion AI-enabled engineering workflows and mentor senior engineers.
