Job Title

Platform Engineering Engineer 3

Main Responsibilities

1. Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and identify solutions.
2. Provide proposals and advice on implementing infrastructure components in the cloud and reducing RUN activities. Develop automation solutions to implement these proposals.
3. Analyze user needs, design, code, test, and debug scripts to support operational needs.
4. Collaborate with end users, Technology Owners, and stakeholders to achieve incremental, value-focused delivery.
5. Develop automation solutions for all infrastructure-related changes.
6. Work with stakeholders to incrementally improve and deliver solutions focused on business outcomes.
7. Provide guidelines and support to Application & Platform SRE teams, including high-level SRE L3 support on the Cloud platform.

Skills & Knowledge – Technical / Functional and Managerial

• Mandatory: Strong experience with Terraform.
• Preferred: Experience with Terratests for unit testing.
• Knowledge of Terragrunt is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins (CI/CD), Docker, Containers, Ansible, and Cloud technologies (Azure & GCP).
• Knowledge of Python and Go is preferred.
• Mandatory: Experience with Azure Networking; knowledge of GCP is a plus.
• Experience managing production environments and understanding operational best practices.
• Comfortable working within SAFe Agile methodology.
• Ability to write detailed solution specifications.
• Basic understanding of network layers/components and cloud infrastructure is beneficial.
• Awareness of ITIL processes; certifications are advantageous.

Education and Years of Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant technical education or equivalent.
• Relevant industry qualifications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multicultural team environments.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, suitable for an international environment.

Relevant Job Experience

• 6 to 9 years of experience in programming and automation.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or cloud environments focusing on automation.
• Microsoft AZ-900 certification is a plus.
