Job Description

This position will follow our hybrid work model, with the selected candidate expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week (10-12 days a month) at the St. Petersburg, FL location.

Job Summary

This Principal Engineer role focuses on technical expertise in End User Virtual Compute solutions. Responsibilities include designing and developing complex systems, overseeing project planning and execution, conducting testing for performance, and improving processes across the organization. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a proven track record in solution delivery and problem solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Ensuring cohesive strategies across teams, aligning product, design, and business goals.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of engineering principles, Digital Workplace Platform technologies, configuration management, data integrity, and security.
• Designing and Developing Systems: Creating technical specifications, conducting R&D, and performing simulations and analyses.
• Project Planning and Execution: Managing engineering projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Testing and Performance Verification: Ensuring system performance, capacity, and efficiency through testing.
• Staying Updated: Attending workshops, conferences, and continuing education.
• Communication and Visibility: Communicating with senior leaders and leading team meetings.
• Process Improvement: Recommending organizational process changes.
• Travel quarterly to other corporate locations.

Skills
