A leading IT provider for the global travel industry seeks a skilled professional to manage cloud infrastructure and enhance engineering productivity. This role involves transitioning systems and building platforms for software solutions while fostering an inclusive work environment. Candidates should possess relevant technical skills and experience in cloud operations.
Common accountabilities:
- Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, makes standard decisions, and supports the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
- Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior roles or managers, with regular monitoring of assignment status.
- May have specialized formal education or equivalent work experience, possessing the required technical and functional skills, along with basic knowledge of the business.
Specific accountabilities:
- Manage infrastructure components such as platform components, containers, and cloud operations.
- Build and maintain platforms that serve as the foundation for software solutions and services.
- Transition from legacy and network-based environments to cloud-based solutions, combining roles of Network Engineer, System Administrator, and Storage Administrator.
- Develop tooling and infrastructure to enhance engineering productivity.
