Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a self-motivated software engineer to join the DCS platform team in Los Angeles. You will build platforms and services for internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems, and develop tools to boost engineering productivity.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software, bringing new ideas and technologies into the platform to drive innovation and improvements in performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with two or more of: web app development, Unix/Linux, distributed/parallel systems, networking, or large software systems.
• Experience with DICM (Discovery, Insights, and Configuration Management), ITOM (IT Operation Management), or ITSM (IT Service Management).
• Experience with GPU, big data (Hadoop/Kafka/Apache) or streaming/computing.
