Job summary

ByteDance in San Jose is seeking a self-motivated software engineer for the DCS platform team. You will build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software; bringing new ideas into the platform, innovating and iterating to improve reliability and efficiency; collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates have a degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with web development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, or networking is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Interest in IT Operations concepts (DICM/ITOM/ITSM) is beneficial.
