Job summary

Capitole seeks a Platform Engineer to build, evolve, and scale its PaaS platform. You will work on Kubernetes-based services on AWS, using Cloud Foundry and related tooling to empower internal development teams.

We value 4+ years in Cloud/DevOps environments, strong Linux and scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash), and experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and ELK. Remote work within Spain is offered with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in similar Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, BOSH Orchestration, and Linux.
• Hands-on automation and development using Python, Go, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Splunk, and the ELK Stack.
• Previous experience with Cloud Foundry and VMware Tanzu is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Replace high-cost tools with open-source alternatives.
• Replicate the platform for another internal client (Athlon).
• Extend the platform to additional AWS regions.
• Assess the feasibility of a European sovereign cloud strategy.
• Integrate the PaaS platform into the One Developer Portal (ODP).
