Job summary

Kake is a remote-first company seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure behind immersive experiences. You will shape infrastructure as code, streamline deployments, and ensure security, observability, and resilience across cloud-native environments.

Ideal candidates have strong AWS and Kubernetes expertise, hands-on Pulumi (TypeScript), and experience with CI/CD, Docker, Helm, FluxCD, and monitoring stacks like Grafana/Prometheus. Global collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS services knowledge (IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, EKS, security groups).
• Solid Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, services, deployments, ingress).
• Hands-on Pulumi (TypeScript) for IaC.
• Experience building CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Docker experience and Helm/Kustomize/FluxCD workflows.
• Networking concepts and connecting managed services to Kubernetes.
• Monitoring/observability with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus.
