ALL-IN Search Group is helping a Maryland-based fintech-friendly SaaS firm find a hands-on Platform/DevOps Engineer. You will own day-to-day infra, deployments, monitoring, automation, and cloud work, collaborating with software and data teams to drive reliability and efficiency.
You’ll contribute to cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and secure AWS environments while advancing infrastructure modernization and cost optimization in a hybrid office setting.
Schedule: Hybrid — minimum 2 days/week in the office
Our client is an established SaaS company that has been operating in the financial technology space for more than 20 years. They are a smaller, close-knit organization where people have visibility, ownership, and the ability to make a real impact. The company has successfully navigated years of change across technology, financial services, and regulation while continuing to evolve its platform and products.
Just as important, they have built a culture that values collaboration, curiosity, humility, and people who are willing to learn. This is not an environment where everyone is trying to be the smartest person in the room.
Millions of consumers have used the company's technology to better understand and improve their financial lives.
We're looking for a hands‑on Platform/DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team and help support, improve, and modernize the infrastructure behind a SaaS platform.
This is a true mid/sr‑level Platform/DevOps opportunity. You'll work closely with software development, data engineering, and other technical teams while owning a mix of day‑to‑day infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, automation, and cloud work.
There is existing infrastructure to support and improve, but there are also opportunities to build new things and influence how the environment evolves.
At a practical level, the team is focused on questions like:
Build, maintain, and improve deployment pipelines that make testing and releases faster and more reliable. Experience with blue/green deployment strategies and clean rollback processes is especially valuable.
Improve visibility into the production environment using CloudWatch and related tooling. The goal isn't simply more alerts — it's better alerts. You'll help tune alarm states, reduce unnecessary noise, and give engineering teams a clearer picture of system health.
Help administer and scale a multi‑environment AWS ecosystem, including an AWS Organizations structure. You'll also have the opportunity to evaluate AWS services that could improve performance, scalability, reliability, or cost.
Build and maintain infrastructure using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tooling.
Work with ECS and Fargate and understand where each makes sense within the environment.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work across development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
Partner with engineering teams to investigate issues, identify root causes, and improve systems so the same problems don't keep happening.
Support infrastructure and operational requirements related to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, including logging, access controls, encryption, and other security practices.
Support and integrate third‑party tools related to performance monitoring, vulnerability scanning, SIEM, and operational reporting.
We're less interested in checking every possible box than we are in finding someone with a strong AWS/DevOps foundation who enjoys solving problems and continuing to learn.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
We’re also particularly interested in people who are curious about AI and are already thinking about how AI tools can make DevOps, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, or engineering workflows better.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants meaningful ownership without disappearing into a huge engineering organization.
You’ll join an established company that is still evolving technically, work closely with experienced engineers, and have the opportunity to improve both existing systems and the way new infrastructure is built.
The company also offers:
