Job summary
Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a diverse set of enterprise platforms across Linux, Windows, and OpenShift environments. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable platform services, drive security hardening, and improve performance.

Qualifications
- Experience with Linux or Windows system administration.
- Automation and scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- Troubleshooting complex system issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 production support for on-premises and cloud-hosted systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain platform services.
- Build, upgrade, and operate OpenShift clusters and supporting infrastructure.
- Automate system provisioning and maintenance using Ansible/AWX.
- Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues; perform root cause analysis.
- Mentor student employees and collaborate with security teams to improve posture.
