Job summary

Judi Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Platform Engineer focused on network architecture and site reliability. You will design and implement our cloud network across AWS accounts, ensuring resilience, security, and scalable performance for a rapidly growing platform.

You’ll own VPC design, CIDR planning, disaster recovery, multi-region failover, and cross‑cloud integrations while collaborating with leadership and engineering teams to drive reliability and on‑call excellence.

Qualifications

5+ years of infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience.
Experience leading projects or teams and mentoring engineers.
Extensive AWS expertise with VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53.
Network architecture experience including CIDR planning, subnet design, and multi-account strategies.
Disaster recovery design and testing, multi-region failover capabilities.
Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform.
Strong Python development skills for automation.
Security mindset and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Experience supporting 24/7 production on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Design and implement hierarchical CIDR allocation across accounts.
Build regional redundancy and multi-region failover strategies.
Own VPC design, subnets, routing tables, security groups, NACLs, and related components.
Establish disaster recovery procedures and test them regularly.
Evaluate multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
Define platform health indicators, SLIs, SLOs, and monitoring.
Work with security teams to ensure best practices and compliance.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and incident response.
Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code and enable self-service.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
