Job summary

Judi Health’s Platform team is seeking a Senior Platform Developer II to design, scale, and secure the Judi platform infrastructure. You will champion infrastructure-as-code principles, drive automation across the software development lifecycle, and ensure platform meets high standards of scalability and security.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable services, participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations, and help guide best practices in HIPAA/SOC2/FedRAMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as Platform/DevOps/SRE
• Deep AWS infra skills incl. EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, IAM
• Proficiency with Terraform, Python, SQL, automation tooling
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
• SQL/database admin (PostgreSQL preferred)
• CI/CD tooling experience (GoCD, GitHub Actions, Harness)
• Observability/monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus)
• Security/compliance in FISMA, SOC 2, FedRAMP environments
• Building scalable, performant SaaS platforms
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
• 24/7 production on-call experience

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable platform & infrastructure
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning tooling
• Write Python code for automation, tooling and service development
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, Redis databases for performance and data integrity
• Administer containers with EKS, ECS
• Use AWS Lambda to power platform features
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with application needs and best practices
• Enforce security practices per HIPAA, FISMA, SOC II, FedRAMP
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response
• Lead Agile/Scrum practices and mentor junior developers
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
• Develop internal tooling and SQL-based workflows
• Implement observability best practices for SaaS services
• Comply with Capital Rx Code of Conduct
