Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a Platform Engineer in Arlington, VA to join the Warfare Systems team. You will help design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code for an enterprise Kubernetes-based product, collaborating with engineers to automate deployments and resolve issues in both unclassified and airgapped environments.

You will uphold security practices, work in agile settings, and support multiple Kubernetes clusters while advancing AI-assisted deployment efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software development/deployment experience in rigorous environments.
• Experience with container technologies Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and validate deliverables for a multi-site deployment project.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for automated Kubernetes deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines and support secure coding practices.
