Job summary

Alauda is seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and operate production-grade Kubernetes tooling and infrastructure. You will write Go and Python to improve platform stability, performance, and observability, working deeply in the Kubernetes ecosystem to support enterprise customers.

You will contribute to architecture discussions for Alauda's PaaS products, implement automation, and tackle complex Linux/container issues at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux system experience (CentOS, Ubuntu) with strong debugging, performance analysis, and OS-level configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container runtimes (containerd, Docker).
• Solid development skills in Go and/or Python, including building, testing, and packaging applications.
• Working knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks — Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities — digging into root causes, not just symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Develop tooling and automation to improve stability, performance, and observability of large-scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging components (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Elasticsearch).
• Contribute to architecture planning for Alauda's PaaS products and evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across Linux, containers, networking, and storage layers.
