Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Platform Engineer in Huntsville, AL to build and modernize critical systems infrastructure. You will work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and automation to support NASA ISS missions and Artemis program.

You will guide architecture, manage tooling, and collaborate with developers to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available platforms across modern and legacy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across distributions (OpenShift, Charm Kubernetes, AWS EKS/OpenShift).
• Architect and implement GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain core infrastructure tools (GitLab, Red Hat Satellite, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes-based issues and support legacy virtualization solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance for Kubernetes-based projects.
• Support AI infrastructure initiatives (Red Hat AI on OpenShift and Poolside.ai).
