Job summary

Insight Global in Naperville, IL is seeking a Kubernetes/Platform Engineer to design and build components for AWS, EKS Kubernetes, and PODs to deploy WSI services. You will work with engineers to understand requirements and build pods from the ground up, collaborating with development and operations to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

The role requires strong Kubernetes experience, SME for POD deployment, and familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience acting as SME for Kubernetes POD deployment.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Serve as SME for Kubernetes POD and container deployment.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
• Kubernetes management: patches, upgrades, configuration, performance, and scale.
• Work with AWS EKS/ECS cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
