Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor is hiring a Platform Engineer to build and scale the nRF Cloud platform. You will own production-grade backend systems handling data from millions of IoT devices and work with Python, Kotlin, and TypeScript on AWS and Kubernetes.

You will help drive observability, reliability, and security, collaborating with product and field engineering teams to turn customer needs into concrete technical work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to ship production code end-to-end.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong communication in a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Own pieces of the platform end-to-end, design, build and ship systems.
• Monitor data pipelines for millions of IoT devices; iterate with data.
• Instrument systems, debug scaling, performance, reliability, or cost issues.
• Lead postmortems, write RFCs, and ensure production readiness.
