Opal Security is hiring a Software Engineer, Infrastructure to own the stability, security, and scalability of a platform used by Fortune 500 enterprises. You will drive architecture decisions and create tools that empower product engineers to ship quickly.

The role requires working on infrastructure with a strong SWE foundation, and collaboration with leadership, product, and enterprise customers to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building distributed systems.
• Must pass a rigorous Leetcode-style coding screen at same bar as product engineers.
• Experience with backend services and platform infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of routing, scaling, and reliability for enterprise-grade software.

Responsibilities

• Own the stability, security, scalability, and performance of Opal's platform serving Fortune 500 enterprises.
• Take ownership of critical infrastructure components and drive architectural decisions.
• Build tools, systems, and best practices product engineers rely on to ship quickly.
