Job summary

Stacklok is building the control plane for enterprise AI agents, with a focus on secure, auditable, and scalable infrastructure. As a Software Engineer II on Stacklok's core platform team, you will deliver features across runtime, Kubernetes operators, gateway, and registry, while strengthening platform reliability for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers.

You will work in a remote role based in North America, with a strong preference for candidates in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go with clean, testable code and proper error handling.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker-based containerization, including isolation and networking.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver features across the Stacklok Enterprise platform, including runtime, gateway, registry, and Kubernetes operator.
• Harden platform systems for enterprise production use and improve stability across customer deployments.
• Write clear design docs and perform thoughtful code reviews to raise overall code quality.
• Collaborate with product, eng leads, and open source contributors to drive platform initiatives.
