Job summary

FyrFly Venture Partners is looking for a Platform Engineer I to join their Operations Command Centre. This hybrid role in Pleasanton involves maintaining production platforms, developing automation, and ensuring platform reliability. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical foundation and experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps.

You will engage in major incident management, work on automation projects, and improve systems reliability using modern tools and methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with proficiency in AWS and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Platform Engineering or similar technical role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 24×7 on‑call rotation supporting production platforms.
• Monitor production health using observability platforms.
• Lead post‑incident reviews focused on continuous improvement.
