Job summary

Baseten is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join the Platform team within the Infrastructure group. You will own deployment platforms, release pipelines, and rollout safety mechanisms to enable engineers to deploy changes rapidly with minimal risk.

You’ll work on streamlined monorepos, fast CI pipelines, and shared libraries to accelerate production deployments. If you are passionate about building scalable infrastructure and autonomous deployment workflows, you’ll thrive here and

Qualifications

• Strong-level proficiency in Go and/or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment systems at scale.
• Experience building or operating continuous deployment platforms.
• Familiarity with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.

Responsibilities

• Design and build continuous deployment infrastructure across Kubernetes clusters and regions.
• Develop systems for progressive delivery including canary releases and automated rollback.
• Improve engineering velocity by automating release pipelines and reducing manual toil.
• Collaborate with product and infra teams to ensure deployable, observable, and resilient services.
• Implement deployment methodologies like GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and progressive delivery patterns.
• Build systems that evaluate deployment health using metrics and logs to trigger safe rollbacks.
• Explore agent-assisted or autonomous deployment workflows using modern AI tooling.
