The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, enforcing security controls, and running reliable production systems. You will participate in on-call rotations and multi-region DR planning.

Qualifications

• Experience running production systems on AWS with Terraform.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge, including row-level security, query plans, migrations.
• Experience with authentication, access control, or audit systems.
• HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST experience.
• Ability to design multi-region or disaster recovery for a stateful system.

Job description

• Stand up alerting, paging, and a shared on-call rotation plus HIPAA and SOC 2 evidence.

You might be a fit if:

• You have experience running production systems on AWS with Terraform and owned incidents through postmortem.
• You have deep PostgreSQL knowledge: row-level security, query plans, live data migrations, and restorable backups.
• You've built authentication, access control, or audit systems and know where they fail open.
• Experience with k8s, ECS, or other container orchestration systems.
• HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST experience.
• Multi-region or disaster-recovery design for a stateful system.
