Job summary

DCI Solutions in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure for AI workloads. You will work with Kubernetes clusters (design, secure, upgrade), Docker, and cloud-native IaC tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation), plus CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

Strong scripting (Python/Go/Bash), Linux fundamentals, and security practices are required; travel up to 20% for on-site work and you may need DoD TS/SCI with CIP

Qualifications

Extensive Kubernetes design, deployment, and security experience.
Hands-on with containerization, Docker, and cluster orchestration.
Experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling in cloud environments.
Familiarity with security practices for cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure for AI workloads.
Support data integration efforts and ensure high availability.
Improve cluster performance and implement best practices for security and networking.
Lead on-site installations and travel up to 20% as required.
