Job summary

ECP is seeking a senior engineer to join the Foundation Engineering team, building and operating the development environments and infrastructure that power our HIPAA-compliant platform. You will help move from a manual, monolithic approach to scalable, on-demand environments and robust pipelines.

You will work on Node/TypeScript, migrate from a ColdFusion legacy, and collaborate with cloud engineers to define and implement tooling, security, and observability across multi-tenant deployments.

Qualifications

• Built and run production AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform, CDK, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Designed and rebuilt CI/CD pipelines to speed delivery and improve reliability.
• Made systems runnable outside production with episodic environments and test data for multi-tenant apps.
• Created tools or services that engineers use daily to improve productivity.
• Implemented AI-assisted development practices and tooling to accelerate workflows.
• Experience with Node/TypeScript and migrating from legacy platforms.

Responsibilities

• Replace shared, slow environments with on-demand, episodic environments for engineers.
• Establish golden paths for building, testing, and running services with clear guidance.
• Enable artifact promotion across environments to avoid repeated rebuilds.
• Introduce feature flags and a reliable deployment workflow across environments.
• Implement dependency scanning, secrets detection, and static analysis in the pipeline.
• Build AWS infrastructure and tooling in collaboration with cloud engineers.
