Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a senior platform engineer to design, build, and operate telemetry, observability, and data-pipeline solutions that deliver real-time visibility into system health, reliability, and performance.

You will advance the observability platform with AI- and agent-assisted detection, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and help shape scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (and GCP).

Qualifications

• Production software systems experience.
• Experience with observability, telemetry, logging, and alerting.
• Cloud experience with AWS; GCP is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• SMTS: 8+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate telemetry, observability, logging, and alerting systems.
• Advance platform toward AI- and agent-assisted issue detection, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
• Build and evolve data pipelines integrating enterprise systems.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture and code reviews.
