Job summary

Bot Auto is building cutting-edge autonomous transportation platforms. We seek a curious Software Engineer, Core Platforms, to develop platform services, automation, and tooling that boost engineer speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

You will ship production code early, receive regular mentorship, and gain experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed systems while supporting autonomous transportation innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Experience with Linux, networking fundamentals, Git, and containers (Docker).
• Willingness to learn and own tasks from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate Kubernetes-based platforms, including features for scheduling, autoscaling, and tooling.
• Write infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Ansible) for on‑prem, cloud, and Kubernetes environments.
• Support data pipelines, simulation jobs, ML pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
