Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an entry-level Platform Engineer I to join our Digital Platform team. You will help power email marketing, customer engagement, and digital forms, translating business needs into practical technical solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and business teams to configure platforms, troubleshoot issues, and own platform-related tasks from deployment to production support.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in platform engineering or digital platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn enterprise software platforms and digital technologies.
• Clear communication and collaboration across teams.
• Knowledge of JSON, APIs, data structures, and debugging is a plus.
• Basic SQL or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize platforms to support transactional and marketing email journeys.
• Translate business and product needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, bugs, and integration problems across digital products.
• Work with APIs, webhooks, data feeds, and integrations between enterprise systems.
• Analyze data and system behavior to identify root causes and solve problems.
• Support projects through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to improve customer experiences and business processes.
• Document platform configurations, technical solutions, and support processes.

As a Platform Engineer I , you'll join our Digital Platform team and help power the digital experiences used by Milwaukee Tool customers.You'll help administer and take ownership of platforms that support email marketing, customer engagement, demand generation, customer feedback, and digital forms.
