Job summary

Antioch in New York City is seeking platform engineers to design and ship the cloud infrastructure, the customer-facing web app, and internal tooling that power massively parallel simulations. You'll own orchestration, GPU pools, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling, collaborating with customers and the founding team to move from 0→1 with reliability and cost awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering background with production cloud systems experience.
• Deep fluency in Python; Rust/C++ is a plus.
• Comfort across backend services, APIs, and modern frontends.
• Experience shipping developer-facing products (SDKs, APIs, CLIs).
• Strong focus on performance, reliability, and observability.
• Familiarity with coding agents as productivity multipliers.
• Interest in building agentic workflows and LLM-enabled tools.
• Track record of shipping production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure for Antioch’s simulations (orchestration, scheduling, GPUs, storage).
• Build the customer-facing web app for authoring scenarios, managing runs, and visualizing results.
• Create internal tooling (SDKs, CLIs, dashboards, pipelines) for engineers.
• Develop agentic harness with APIs, MCP servers, tool wrappers, evals, and feedback loops.
• Own performance, reliability, and cost as customer load grows.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate Antioch into workflows (APIs, CI hooks).
• Communicate tradeoffs and roadmap to customers and internal teams.
