Advocate Technologies, NYC-based, is hiring a Platform Engineer to own the foundation our product and people build on. You will manage cloud infrastructure, security, and automation end-to-end, shipping changes through automated pipelines and enforcing controls as code.

You will build integrations, internal tooling, and AI-driven automation to help a lean team move faster while maintaining strict security and compliance. The role emphasizes autonomy and proactive problem-solving.

Formación

• 3–6 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and a GitOps mindset.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, policy checks, and human review gates.
• Solid grasp of a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and IAM/secrets management.
• Advanced use of AI tools (Claude, Agents) for agent workflows and integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python/TypeScript/Go) for automation.
• Ability to work with high autonomy in a small team.

Responsabilidades

• Own cloud infrastructure end-to-end, defined as code and shipped through automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Codify security and compliance controls (access, logging, audit evidence) to enforce posture automatically.
• Run vulnerability management across code, dependencies, containers, and resources with defined SLAs.
• Build and maintain in-platform and out-of-platform integrations connecting data and third-party systems.
• Design and deploy AI agents and automation handling repetitive infra/security tasks with guardrails.
• Own IT asset lifecycle and tooling (provisioning, identity, SaaS access, offboarding).
• Build internal tooling to shorten the path from idea to production.
