Job summary

Vantive is a platform and digital solutions company focused on extending lives and transforming organ therapies. This entry-level Platform Engineer role designs, builds, and maintains scalable platforms to enable reliable infrastructure and deployments across the organization.

You will develop IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, craft Python/Bash automation, and partner with teams to improve security, governance, and developer productivity as part of a broader platform engineering effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Entry-level position; open to applicants with more than 3 years’ experience if applicable.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build internal platforms to support automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployment
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Create automation tools and workflows using Python and shell scripting (Bash)
• Build reusable modules, templates, and libraries to standardize infrastructure and deployment patterns
• Develop CI/CD platform integrations for secure, repeatable deployments
• Onboard workloads onto platform capabilities with application teams
• Implement guardrails and policy-as-code for security and compliance
• Maintain platform reliability with monitoring and logging
• Document platform architecture, usage patterns, and best practices
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and developer experience
• Participate in platform releases, changes, testing, and end-user training
