Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking a Platform Engineer for Content Delivery & Engineering Tools (CDET) to support CDN, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. You will collaborate with SRE, Security, and Infra teams to enhance performance, security, and developer productivity across platforms.

The role emphasizes edge delivery, tooling, and platform reliability, with remote work across the U.S. and a strong focus on modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and Azure preferred
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis across distributed systems
• Experience scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash/curl
• Able to balance operational support with automation initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Support and administer the CDN, including caching strategies and edge configurations
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across content delivery infrastructure
• Develop automation and IaC to improve scalability and efficiency
• Monitor platform health using observability tools and implement improvements
• Participate in on-call, incident response, and capacity planning
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support playbooks
