Job summary

Orbifold AI in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Platform Engineer (Console & SDK) to shape the surface of our platform. You will own the console, viewer, and SDK/API surface used by leading labs and researchers.

In this role, you will work end-to-end across frontend, backend, and contracts, delivering fast feedback to researchers and building scalable infrastructure for distributed workloads. On-site in Palo Alto with a strong penchant for innovation and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production web applications or client-facing interfaces.
• Strong modern TypeScript and front-end engineering depth.
• Experience designing APIs or SDKs for external consumers.
• Comfortable across the stack into Python services and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build the partner console: submit and monitor workloads, see status and progress.
• Build the multi-stream and 3D viewer with synchronized playback and frame-accurate inspection.
• Design and own the SDK and public API, documented and easy to adopt.
• Build internal tooling used by operators and researchers on the same foundations.
• Own the vertical end-to-end: TypeScript frontend, Python services, and contracts in between.
• Work directly with partners on actual needs, without translation layers.
