Run BiOS is building an OpenAI-compatible API and developer-centric platform in San Francisco. As an AI Product Engineer, you will design the console, API surface, model catalog, pricing calculator, and the docs developers read before their first call.

You will own frontend architecture with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, ship end-to-end features, and translate ML research into usable features. Strong product judgment and clear writing are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production web applications.
• Strong TypeScript and React skills.
• Full-stack capability to design APIs and polish UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across the Run BiOS console and public surfaces.
• Shape the developer experience of the OpenAI-compatible API: error handling, streaming behavior, SDK ergonomics.
• Own frontend architecture in TypeScript, React, and Next.js; define API boundaries behind it.
• Productize ML research outputs into visible, usable features.
• Instrument metrics like activation, funnels, and latency budgets; iterate from data.
• Talk to users and support threads to guide future work.
