Job summary

Capgemini in Charlotte, NC is seeking an architecture-focused engineer to define and deliver how engineering teams consume platform capabilities through self-service developer workflows. You will own the design and implementation of developer-facing platform experiences to onboard, build, deploy, and operate applications.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with Python, build scalable backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework, and guide teams on

Responsibilities

• Design and architect developer workflows self service capabilities and platform integration patterns
• Design develop test and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Python
• Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as Fast API Flask or Django REST Framework
• Define how developers consume CICD automation infrastructure and platform services
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
• Drive end to end delivery from architecture and design through implementation and adoption
• Develop reference architectures reusable patterns APIs and automation frameworks
• Guide engineering teams on best practices and promote platform adoption across the organization
• Create technical documentation and conduct enablement sessions workshops and office hours
