Job summary

General Dynamics IT in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Platform/Software Engineer to support the USCENTCOM J6 CITS program. You will design, build, and automate across the enterprise, turning mission requirements into working automation and integration solutions.

As a broad-scope developer, you will collaborate with analysts and data engineers to deliver capability end-to-end, while complying with DoW security standards and working onsite in secure environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development and/or automation engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship required and security clearance conditions.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• DoW 8140 baseline certification (Security+) required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy automations, integrations, and applications across the enterprise toolset.
• Work as a broad-scope developer across automation, application development, workflow integration, and data movement.
• Automate manual O&M processes to reduce effort over time.
• Develop and maintain code in Git-based pipelines; support CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Document solutions and produce release notes and user guides for handoff.
