Job summary

CAC I—Platform Engineer role located in New York, NY requires TS/SCI with Polygraph. You will build, test, and maintain infrastructure and tooling to accelerate software development and release cycles, partnering with development and operations teams.

The position emphasizes automation, security, and reliability, with experience in Ansible and observability stacks. A strong technical background and a readiness to contribute to mission-critical programs are expected.

Qualifications

• BS + 10 years of professional experience or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with platform engineering, automation, and scaling infrastructure.
• Experience with security/compliance practices and best practices for platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.
• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development and deployment.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows.
• BS + 10 Years’ experience is required or 14 years experience may be substituted for degree.
• TS/SCI w/poly is required**
