Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Identity Analytics platform. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines feeding ML models and LLM-powered agents.

You will translate research prototypes into production systems, ensuring quality, freshness, and reliability of insights for IAM, STS, and related services at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years designing and developing large‑scale distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines processing Identity logs and metrics from IAM, STS, and other services.
• Own productionization lifecycle for ML models: package, deploy, monitor, and maintain models in production with SageMaker, ECS, and EKS.
• Build and maintain feature engineering infrastructure for ML training, evaluation, and inference.
• Drive platform resilience with monitoring, alerting, and automation to handle petabyte‑scale data.
• Collaborate with scientists, BIEs, and product managers to design data models meeting current and future needs.
• Develop onboarding capabilities for new Identity service teams to ingest data quickly.
