Job summary

Onward Legal Innovation has launched a new Platform Engineering team as part of a technology and AI platform transformation at a leading U.S. law firm. You’ll help build the internal developer platform, self-service tooling, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, cloud automation, and observability to support traditional apps and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or software engineering.
• Strong production coding skills in Go and Python, plus Bash and/or PowerShell.
• Strong hands-on CI/CD and pipeline-building experience with YAML, plus Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable self-service tooling, APIs, CLIs, libraries, and platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Build modular cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform and Helm.
• Support workloads across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and GitOps environments.
• Help build platform services for AI workloads including model inference, retrieval, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Implement monitoring, tracing, logging, and alerting across traditional and GenAI services.
• Participate in incident response and contribute to continuous reliability improvements.
• Automate security, operational, and developer workflows.
