Job summary

Neural Solutions in Columbia, MD, is seeking a software engineer to join the Platform team responsible for AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and security posture that AI capabilities rely on. You will build and maintain the foundation for AI services and support the broader AI-enabled application ecosystem.

You will deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure, create CI/CD pipelines, and apply security best practices.

Qualifications

3 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or 7 years without degree
Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers
Understanding of containerization concepts and Docker
Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting the organization's AI capabilities (AWS, Kubernetes).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable deployments.
Configure and use observability tooling to monitor production services.
Support certificate management and security practices for AI systems and data.
Collaborate with other teams to provision and configure infrastructure their services depend on.
Diagnose and help resolve production infrastructure issues.
