Genesis10 Platform Engineer Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Platform Engineer for our client in their Stamford, CT location. This is a 6 month + contract position.

Summary

Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Platform Engineer for their Connecticut location.

Responsibilities

1. Frontend web development design and implementation using NextJS and modern UI frameworks like Shadcn and Tailwind.
2. Knowledge of RSC, SSR, and client-side bundle optimizations.
3. Designing UI with a good eye for user experience and user-driven development.
4. Relating UX from other applications to develop solutions.
5. Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript, React, and web best practices.

Requirements

1. Experience with OpenAI, Claude, or related AI infrastructure and deployment.
2. Experience with on-premises operations for web technologies.
3. Deployment experience with NodeJS, Express, Turbo/WebPack.
4. Experience with on-prem telemetry and tracking, preferably OpenTelemetry, avoiding Sentry due to maintenance issues.
5. Ability to create intuitive UI designs.
6. Ability to perform due diligence on user requirements prior to design and implementation.
7. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.
