Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Platform Administration & Operations professional to manage enterprise analytics platforms, including tenant configuration, licensing, gateways, and workspace organization. The role involves governance, security, and coordinating platform releases to ensure smooth adoption across the organization.

The candidate will participate in roadmap planning, support proofs-of-concepts, migrations, and cloud-based deployments on Azure/AWS/GCP while focusing on cost and performance

Qualifications

• Experience administering analytics platforms (BI/reporting) and governance.
• Experience with CI/CD or release management patterns for analytics assets.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and security patterns.
• Capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost/consumption management in SaaS platforms.
• Certifications in analytics platform administration, cloud fundamentals, ITIL foundations.

Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Operations

• Administer enterprise analytics platforms (BI/reporting and analytics workflow/automation), including tenant/environment configuration, licensing/capacity, gateways/connectors, and workspace/project organization.
• Perform platform configuration management: manage settings, features, and guardrails aligned to governance and security policies.
• Coordinate platform releases and changes (patching, upgrades, feature enablement), including impact assessment, communications, and adoption support.

Platform Roadmap & Continuous Improvement

• Research, evaluate, and recommend platform enhancements, tools, services, protocols, and standards to support organizational goals.
• Contribute to platform roadmap planning and assist with proof‑of‑concepts, migrations, or platform transitions as needed (ensuring continuity and governance).
• Experience implementing governance for self‑service analytics (workspace lifecycle, promotion paths, certification, usage policies, and auditing).
• Experience with CI/CD or release management patterns for analytics assets (Git‑based workflows, deployment pipelines, environment separation).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and enterprise security patterns.
• Familiarity with capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost/consumption management in SaaS platforms.
• Relevant certifications (examples): analytics platform administration, cloud fundamentals, ITIL foundations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
