Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and deliver complex requirements to achieve business goals. You will ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements while configuring and maintaining OpenShift Containers, WAS servers, builds and deployment plans.

The role involves applying industry practices for developing and monitoring applications, setting up repos in Bitbucket, creating CI-CD jobs, and mentoring teammates on CI-CD techniques.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring and operating Kubernetes/OpenShift containers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling (Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering software that meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Configuration and maintenance of OpenShift Containers, WAS servers, builds and deployment plans.
• Setup repositories in Bitbucket and CI-CD jobs.
• Mentor other software engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices.

Requirements

• Hands on Experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift Containers - Configuration & complete Setup
• Experience with MS- Co Pilot or any AI Agents
• Experience in Devops tools like Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins
• Experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Bachelors Degree in STEAM or related fields.
• Hands on experience on development tools like Eclipse, splunk etc
• Hands on experience on Code Quality Tools like Sonar/Crucible
• Experience on modern development methodology including Agile
• Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
