Job summary

Hunter Bond in Houston is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, monitor, and scale Linux compute platforms and the Kubernetes orchestration layer that supports compute-intensive research and trading workloads.

You will have the opportunity to build CI/CD pipelines, create self-service workflows, and drive observability to improve developer and researcher productivity across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve scalable Linux compute platforms.

You will be responsible for designing, monitoring, and scaling platform infrastructure - including the Kubernetes-based orchestration layer underpinning compute-intensive research and trading workloads. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the productivity and efficiency of teams by enhancing operational efficiency, developing CI/CD pipelines, creating self-service workflows, and directly improving the developer and researcher experience
