What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Platform Engineer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

1. Responsible for driving complex and major computer application incidents to resolution by owning the end-to-end incident process.
2. Deliver production-grade code with excellent quality.
3. Deliver solutions within a DevOps environment with a focus on automation of testing and deployment.
4. Recognize, select, and apply appropriate design patterns and frameworks based on business benefit, maintainability, and delivery constraints.
5. Maintain standards applicable to the work and ensure alignment with mandatory standards and architectures.
6. Create and refactor programs according to design, following code management procedures and standards.
7. Produce Product Technical Incident Post Mortem (“TIPM”) documents for major incidents.
8. Create, update, and maintain known errors and scenarios documentation.
9. Review test strategies, cases, and results, providing input from an RtB perspective.
10. Contribute to operational acceptance testing (OAT), resilience testing, and define non-functional requirements for new projects.
11. May telecommute.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $136,000
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $142,500

The above salary includes only base pay and does not include additional compensation or benefits.
