Health Catalyst maintains a suite of Improvement Apps that enhance healthcare analytics and process improvements, including managing health system populations, improving patient care, reducing costs, and clinician workload.

Job Summary:

Seeking a versatile candidate blending Site Reliability and Senior Software Engineering skills to support healthcare analytics platforms. The role involves operating across hybrid tech stacks (.NET, Angular, SQL Server, Java, Kubernetes, cloud services) to ensure high availability, modernization, and infrastructure reliability, focusing on DevOps and SRE skills. The candidate will lead efforts in cloud-native modernization, security, and observability across platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading initiatives to migrate platforms to cloud-native architecture.
• Serving as site reliability engineer across platforms.
• Maintaining and modernizing infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Java, .NET, SQL Server, and cloud services.
• Implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Bicep.
• Designing, securing, and scaling deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring uptime.
• Leading troubleshooting and incident resolution, collaborating with DevOps, InfoSec, and QA teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Proficiency in Azure and GCP cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with .NET, Angular, SQL Server, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools.
• Experience with legacy web infrastructure, logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional helpful skills:

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST standards.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
