Job summary

Carta, Inc. is seeking a Loan Operations Associate to manage end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending on Carta's platform.

You will handle lifecycle events like fundings, repayments, rollovers, and amendments with precision, perform reconciliations, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders. A tech-forward approach is valued.

Qualifications

• Operationally rigorous with 2+ years in loan operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of loan lifecycle events and lifecycle mechanics.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered productivity tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and setup for private credit and direct lending.
• Process complex loan lifecycle events—fundings, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, amendments with accuracy.
• Perform reconciliations of cash, positions, and transactions across borrower, lender, and settlement records.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports; respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify inefficiencies and support scalable workflows.
