Prime Medicine seeks an exceptionally driven Scientist for the Platform Technology & Innovation team. You will design Prime Editing systems for new therapeutic targets, applying molecular biology and editing expertise to platform challenges.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, RNA Biology, Chemical Biology, or a closely related field.
• Postdoctoral and/or drug discovery experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Experience in genome editing and prime editing with pegRNA design.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and optimize Prime Editing approaches for new editing targets, first in vitro then in vivo.
• Probe structure–function relationships in Prime Editing components and generate interpretable data.
• Collaborate with Computational Biology, Technical Development, and program teams to translate advances into programs.
• Maintain engagement with literature and emerging genome editing technologies.
• Communicate findings and contribute to publications, patent filings, and conferences.
• Adhere to lab safety and maintain accurate notebooks.
• Mentor research associates and interns, with potential dotted-line oversight as the team scales.
