Job summary

MAHLE Manufacturing Management US is seeking an entry-level Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to support the Compressor Product Engineering Group in designing and launching automotive air conditioning compressors for global applications.

The role involves hands-on product development, component selection, prototype builds and testing, data analysis and cross-functional teamwork to meet customer program launches.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and analytical skills is required.
• Good written and oral skills - ability to convey technical concepts.
• Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support MAHLE eCompressor Product Development team in advancing development and customer launch activities.
• Assist with preparation, build, and testing of compressor product samples.
• Assist in creating a development platform for eCompressor products and benchmarking.
• Contribute to product development related to eCompressor component integration.
• Contribute to mechanical and electrical component design, and improve electronics and motor thermal management.
• Analyze test data and organize results with observations and conclusions.
• Apply engineering practices to achieve design solutions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams related to customer program launch activity.
