Job summary

AHEAD seeks a Data Governance Lead to build and run the governance capability of its Data Platform Team—hands-on and operational across catalogs, lineage, quality, access controls, and contracts.

You will implement governance standards directly, partnering with engineers, and drive the federated product model while growing a governance function over time under the Director, Data Platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data governance or related roles with hands-on platform delivery.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with governance programs.
• Experience building governance capabilities in cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on Snowflake governance (RBAC, row/column security, masking).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate enterprise data catalog with metadata standards.
• Implement automated lineage and quality checks.
• Configure Snowflake governance controls and access policy.
• Lead a governance function and collaborate with security, legal, and architecture.
